 From intimate celebrations to weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions, Amelia’s Italian Cuisine offers a warm and memorable setting for your private event.

For larger celebrations, guests have the option to reserve the entire restaurant exclusively for their event, creating a private dining experience in the heart of downtown Gainesville.

Our team will work with you to create a menu and event plan that fits your occasion.

• Holiday parties
• Celebration of life gatherings
• Family reunions and special occasions

Depending on the size and style of your event, we can offer a prix fixe menu, limited event menu, or customized dining experience.

For guests looking for complete privacy, Amelia’s is available for full restaurant buyouts.

Because a private buyout requires us to close the restaurant to regular dinner service, a food and beverage minimum will apply. Minimums are based on the date, day of the week, time of year, length of the event, and anticipated guest count.

Private events are not considered confirmed until the required deposit and/or signed event agreement has been received.

Deposits and payment schedules will be outlined in your event proposal.

Final guest counts and menu selections must be provided by the deadline listed in your event agreement.

All food and beverages must be provided by Amelia’s unless otherwise approved in writing.

Celebration and wedding cakes may be brought in with prior approval. A cake-cutting/service fee may apply.

Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted except when specifically approved by Amelia’s. Approved outside wine is subject to our current corkage fee.

Private events may be subject to an automatic gratuity and/or service charge. All applicable charges will be clearly disclosed in your event proposal before booking.

Taxes are additional unless otherwise stated.

Because private events require us to reserve space, schedule staff, order products, and potentially turn away other reservations, cancellation policies apply.

Cancellation deadlines and any non-refundable deposits or fees will be clearly stated in your private event agreement.

We welcome decorations that help make your celebration special.

Decorations must be approved in advance and may not damage walls, furniture, fixtures, or restaurant property. Confetti, glitter, open-flame decorations, and similar items may be restricted.

Guests are responsible for removing personal decorations and belongings at the conclusion of the event unless other arrangements have been made.

Your reservation includes the event times specified in your agreement. Additional setup, decorating, or event time should be arranged in advance.

Additional charges may apply when an event extends beyond its contracted time.
